And In The Cultural Districts header

With Memorial Day past us and schools closing for holiday break we begin to head into summer with Art Fairs, Gallery Openings and Festivals in and around town. Starting on June 5th, 2009, are the First Friday Tours in the Districts. If you have not been out to Mass Ave in a while this would be a great night to come out to the Dean Johnson Gallery to see the DREAMTIME show. With over fifteen artists showing works that have been inspired by their dreams, this presentation is a must-see in person to view, not only sculptures and paintings, but to experience Margaret Dolinsky's interactive face recognition installation. The Dean Johnson Gallery is located on 646 Mass Ave www.deanjohnson.com and will be open from 5 to 9 P.M. on Friday, June 5th, 2009. While you're out, pick up an IDADA First Friday map (www.idada.org) and check out the rest of the district's openings.
