McDonald's hostess will retire after eight years of service
For all who are wondering ... Miss Mary, the famous hostess at the McDonald's restaurant in Broad Ripple, is now living with her daughter and son in law.McDonald's will be throwing a retirement / birthday party in honor of Miss Mary's 8 years of service. Friends of Miss Mary (we know there are hundreds of you), please join us in celebrating her 85th birthday and retirement on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, from 11AM to 2PM. She cannot wait to see you all!
Area lane restrictions will last through May
There will be two lanes restricted on North College Avenue from 6600-7000N for bridge joint repair. Work will first begin in the northbound lanes (closing all northbound lanes) shifting traffic to the south bound lanes. Crossovers will occur at existing intersections; however, portions of the median will be removed to allow for additional room. The restrictions will be in place from April 11th, 2007 through May 15th.
2007 BRHS Ripples acts will be held April 20-21
The annual Ripples Acts will be held on April 20 and 21, 2007, at 7 P.M. in the Broad Ripple High School auditorium. Ripples are student written and directed plays that have been presented in the spring since the 1940's. This year's plays are Ninja of the Night directed by Cody Staten and Kyrsten Lyster, North Side Story directed by John White and Tadd Tobey, and Yee Haw Corral directed by Will Brown, Natalie Mohaghan and Alyssa Dyar.
