by Alan Hague
posted: Apr. 20, 2007
Once a year, David Hittle clears his house out and fills it will art for the April Show. This April Show, celebrating its tenth anniversary, is a unique one-night-only annual exhibition featuring the works of Indianapolis artists who have overcome homelessness, mental or physical illness, and other daunting obstacles. All works are for sale, with prices ranging from $8 to $500. The proceeds go directly to the artists, with many donating portions of their sales to Stopover, a shelter for homeless teenagers. The show is held at 322 North Arsenal Avenue on Friday, April 27, 2007. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free. For more information, please visit aprilshow.org or phone 974-1163.
