Jesus Christ called God "Abba", which many think means "Father" in Aramaic. I have spoken with several people over the years who have studied Aramaic. They have told me that "Abba" is the informal for "Father" in Aramaic, more accurately translated as "Daddy".
On a good day I have a running dialogue with God. I tell him what is in my mind and heart. My thoughts and words must sound like a child struggling with language to the One who masterminds the Universe. My Love is less that a drop in the ocean of His infinite loving Love.
Our divine Daddy's Love for His children in incomprehensible. How much pain does He feel when we stumble and fall? How much joy does He feel when words of Love tumble out of our mouths?
