On May 27, 2006, the Broad Ripple Farmers Market opened at their new location in the parking lot behind Broad Ripple High School. The new venue allows for easy access from Compton or 61st Street, and offers plenty of parking. There were more than 20 vendors, plus the live music of Mikel and Arminta. Pastries, breads, fruits and vegetables, coffee, meats and cheeses, and honey were just a few things available. The Gazette will try to be there each week to report on it all. See you there!
