Construction has begun on the new Key Bank to be located on the northwest corner of 64th and College Avenue. Two buildings were removed to make way for the construction, the USA Muffler shop, which closed last year, and a rental house.

The rental was once known as the Talbott House. It originally faced College Avenue and was turned 90 degrees clockwise to face 64th, when, around 1960 the east section of the property was subdivided to erect Patton's Sinclair Station. According to Joe Talbott, his uncle's house is built on the high ground. Since it was one of the only dry buildings in the area during the 1913 flood, it became a meeting and organization site for the flood workers.
