Poetic Thoughts - Rolo Experience - by C.W. Pruitt II

Rolo Experience
I was recently in line at Kroger Glendale and saw a pack of Rolos on the floor below the candies. There was no section for the Rolos. The Rolos lie prostrate in isolation on the floor.
Then I started to think about how much I had enjoyed Rolos in the past. It had been a few years since my last Rolo experience. I also thought about how they would be cold. (I keep all of my chocolate in the fridge).
I bought the Rolos.
Walking home I tried to think of the last time I even heard the word 'Rolo'. The best I could come up with was 'Rollo' on Sanford and Son. But I am almost certain that 'Rollo' would have spelled his name with 2 LLs. I can't recall "Rollo" ever spelling out his name on the show. 'Rollo' was not even a main character on the show. He appeared on quite a few episodes as Lamont's best friend.
Anyway, when I got home I placed the 'Rolos' in my fridge. (They were great cold.)
I guess my only point in writing this story was to give you a window into how insanely my mind works.
