On October 20, 2026, the ribbon was cut (actually three!) to reopen the Indianapolis Art Center's (IAC) ArtsPark. The audience was filled with art-world dignitaries, including long-time IAC director Joyce Sommers. Current director Mark Williams led the celebration and kicked off the three simultaneous ribbon cuttings arranged to allow the various people that made the ArtsPark transformation a reality to take part.
