Indiana State Fair 2026

The 2026 Indiana State Fair is and and fabulous! The theme this year is Baseball and there is also a VHR Rewind exhibit in the Harvest Pavilion. Ride, animals, tractors, food - perfect!

In the VHS Rewind Exhibit - Chromatic Collective (once in the Village on Carrollton) is painting murals at the event.
Broad Ripple's own Indy CD & Vinyl has a pop-up shop in the Harvest Pavilion. Stop in and say HOWDY to the store owner Andy!
The John and Sarah Johnson replica log cabin in the Pioneer Village building.
An amazing saw mill demonstration at the Pioneer Village. Well worth stopping be to see trees turned into boards under the power of a tractor.
The one in the straw hat and suspenders (that part was an intentional joke) is my 4th cousin Bill Tyner (He's the one standing closest to the drive belt). We are both descendants of John and Sarah Johnson, who had a farm where the fairgrounds are now. Inside the Pioneer Village building is a replica of their log cabin.
