National Travel and Tourism Week

Indiana is joining the nationwide celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week, and there's a lot to be excited about. Travel plays a huge role in strengthening communities, supporting local businesses, and showcasing the places that make our state one of a kind. Did you know in 2024, over 83M people visited Indiana?!
To keep the celebration going, Visit Indiana Week (May 3-9) brings Hoosiers and visitors a fun chance to experience the state in a whole new way. Each day, free tickets will be given away to exciting events and experiences at venues across Indiana, shining a spotlight on the arts, entertainment, and the creative energy that makes our communities vibrant. In addition to the seven featured events listed above, DNR is celebrating Visit Indiana Week with two free‑admission opportunities. On May 3, all visitors will receive free entry to state parks. Later in the week, on May 9, state employees and everyone riding with them will also be admitted free of charge.
