Random Historic Photo - BRHS Cottage

This issue's Random Historic Photo is from 1962. It is from my grandmother's (Helen Dawson Hague) scrapbook. It shows when the cottage was still on the southwest side of Broad Ripple High School. The cottage, 6175 Marion Road (now Compton), was donated by my great-great-great-uncle Hamlin Thompson when he and his wife moved to 6116 Guilford Avenue in the 1920s. The cottage was used for Home Ec classes for years. Currently this spot is the entrance to the basketball gym.
