This issue's Random Historic Photo, taken in 1988 during Broad Ripple Village's Sesquicentennial celebration, shows when the Corner Wine Bar and The Wellington were on the southeast corner of Westfield Boulevard and Guilford Avenue. The Corner Wine Bar was the first place in Marion County with sidewalk dining. The law had to be changed to allow it.
