This issue's Random Historic Photo, taken around 1985 by Michele Borgerhoff, shows when Stationers was at 808 Broad Ripple Avenue, about where Indy CD & Vinyl is today [H4 on map].
I remember the store being called Stewart's Stationers. It was at this location from about 1960 through the mid-1990s.
As a kid, I would go there often just to browse through the writing supplies. A bit geeky.
