This issue's Random Historic Photo, taken in 1960 or so by Don Albershardt (I think it is really of his new car!), shows Bernice's Cafeteria at 5212 V. College Avenue. This was recently added to BroadRippleHistory.org's Stores Page.

Before Bernice's opened around 1937, this spot was Piggly Wiggly Market.

After it was Bernice's, it became Burnell's and then Evans' Cafeteria from 1976 to 1986.

This location has been The Aristocrat since 1989.
