Random Rippling - Indiana State Fair
posted: Aug. 14, 2025
The first few days of the 2025 Indiana State Fair were the mildest weather that I can remember. This issue comes out on Thursday, August 14, which means you have just a few days of good food and music left! The Fair runs through Sunday, August 17.
This picture was sent in by Nora Spitznogle. It pays tribute to long-time State Fair participant (and your editor's cousin) Archie Kerr. Archie could be found each year in the Tractor Parade and in the Pioneer Village Building at the Johnson Cabin.
