This issue's Random Historic Photo is from 1990. It is looking south from Broad Ripple Avenue across the street from McDonald's towards the Broad Ripple Station shopping center.
On the signpost there are signs for Coconuts Music and Waldenbooks, both which were in the old A&P building where Sun King was a few years ago.
Some shops visible in this photo are Great Harvest Bread Company, Broad Ripple Pet Center, Star Cleaners, Boardroom Games and Wok 'N' Roll.
