things change
they re-arrange
but i tell ya
those short
little poems
of emily
dickenson are
eternal

②

gwendolyn brooks
was surrounded by electricity -
she had superpowers, no doubt
molly mote took me to see her
and she would testify
that gwendolyn brooks
did indeed
emit electricity -
she was
as shocked
as me
