This is a photo that was probably taken in the late 1940s, based on the car parked on the street. It shows when Guarantee Auto and Kroger were at 716 and 724 Broad Ripple Avenue (then, 63rd Street). Today Huntington Bank occupies these two spots.

Kroger was at this spot from about 1939 through 1953 before moving to 6220 Guilford Avenue.

To the east you can see Vonnegut's Hardware and beyond it, Union Federal Bank before it moved to 724.
