Random Rippling - New Canal Marker

In August of 2016 a car hit the historic marker for the canal at Westfield Boulevard and Illinois Street. Historian Ed Fujawa was instrumental in organizing the effort to have it replaced. The unveiling of the new plaque from the Indiana Historical Bureau happened on November 26. There were about 10 at the unveiling.
