This is a photo of the intersection of Kessler and College. It shows Binkley's Drug Store (where Binkley's Kitchen & Bar is today at 5902 College Ave [KK23 on map], and Hoster Radio and Appliance just south of the Howard Rogers' Mobil gas station (where Nygaard Service Center was recently). I don't know if that Hoster is related to George Hoster who had the Ford Dealership a few blocks away on Broad Ripple Avenue.

By the cars in the photo, I would guess the photo is from the late 1940's. Maybe a reader can help. The Model A in the lot is not of the period, as there are newer cars in the photo.

The College Avenue streetcar power wires are visible above the street.
