Years ago at least three map podiums were placed around the Village to help visitors locate businesses in the area. It was part of the Indianapolis Cultural District initiative. Of course, these listings go out of date quickly. I can attest to that as I make updates to VirtualBroadRipple.com many times a week!

Recently I found that two of the remaining maps were repurposed into art.

One is by the entrance to Broad Ripple Park. The other is by McDonald's on the Monon Trail. The third one, now removed, was by Chase bank on the College side.
