This is a photo of the Green City Boathouse that was between Broad Ripple Avenue and the White River, west of Broad Ripple Park. Boats and canoes could be rented. I also heard at a Broad Ripple Gazette history meeting that there was a restaurant there at one time. I am guessing that this photo is from the 1930's. It is from the Village Sampler collection.

For many years Weaver's Lawn and Garden was at this location.
