There were around 17 in attendance at the August 27, 2024, public meeting of the Broad Ripple Village Association [BRVA] Land Use and Development committee that was held in the basement of Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard.
There one item on the published agenda, in bold below.
6281 North College Avenue (Turntable) - Jenny Boyts, the CEO of Forty5 Presents, LLC, will be presenting. The establishment, Turntable, is seeking a permit transfer on their current Beer Wine & Liquor permit. Hearing Date: 9/3/24; Permit #RR4941604
This item is to add a 3-way liquor license to a new venue called Turntable, which is located in the old Crackers Comedy Club space next to the Vogue. It is owned by Forty5 Presents that also has The Vogue Theatre, Rock the Ruins at Holliday Park, and The Tobias Theater at Newfields. Turntable would only be open as a bar for events, not as a local bar with regular hours.
The committee voted to support this request that goes to the Alcohol Beverage Board committee in the City-County Building.
The next public meeting of the committee is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 6pm, at Northminster Presbyterian Church.
