This is a photo of a 1919 check from the Broad Ripple State Bank that was in Mustard Hall at 6235 Guilford Avenue, and is pictured in the background of the check. It was in my cousin (third cousin, once removed) Mary's collection.

The check was from James A. Dawson, who is my first cousin, three times removed.

My research places the bank on the ground floor of Mustard Hall from about 1900 to around 1930, when it became Fletcher Trust.

Interestingly there is no account number on it. I guess the bank knew all of the customers by name.
