Random Rippling - College Library turns 100

On June 22, 2024, the College Avenue Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library celebrated 100 years. The current building, built in 2000 is at 42nd and College Avenue.
The library began in a house at 615 E. 42nd Street in 1925. The library building at 4156 Broadway Street was opened in October 1958. In 2000 the branch moved into the 42nd and College Avenue building and was renamed the College Avenue Branch.
