Random Rippling - Fire Station Groundbreaking

Thanks to Frog once again for covering an event while your editor was off on another trip. This time to Florida to check on the Cake Bake Shop progress at Walt Disney World (and to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure!).
On June 13, 2024, there was a groundbreaking ceremony for the new fire station that will be built between American Legion Post #3 and Fresh Thyme Farmers Market at 63rd and College Avenue [E3 on map]. Indianapolis Fire Department Chief Ernest Malone and Mayor Joe Hogsett were part of the event.
This project had been delayed, waiting for the Army Corps of Engineers to certify the flood wall.
