Random Rippling - Law Enforcement Officer and Firefighter of the Year

On May 18, 2024, American Legion Broad Ripple Post #3, 6379 N. College Avenue [E3 on map], held the annual Law Enforcement Officer and Firefighter of the Year ceremony and dinner. The entrants are nominated by their respective organizations. The winners to go on to compete in the State contest.
This year's recipients are:
- Law Enforcement Officer of the Year is Officer David Woloszyn with IMPD North District.
- Firefighter of the Year is Captain Ronald Kautsky with Indianapolis Fire Department Station 7.
At the dinner before the ceremony, catered by the Steer Inn.
