Random Rippling - 42nd & College development open house
posted: Jun. 29, 2023
The Indianapolis Public Library College Branch, 42nd and College Avenue, was the site of an open house to discuss the plans for development of two land parcels across the street from the library. One is on the southeast corner, just north of fire station 31. The other is on the northeast corner. That has been an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) building for many years.
The plan is to build a mixed-use building on the southeast corner that would include retail and housing. The building to be built on the northeast corner would be for the Kids Dance Outreach program.
This was a preliminary information meeting before the rezoning process starts. Further meetings are planned for when the construction phase nears.
