This photo is of the house of Elmer and Amanda Dawson that was at 1662 Kessler Boulevard, where the parking lot for Northminster Presbyterian Church is today. I would guess it was taken in the 1940s. According to my records Elmer sold it to, then mayor of Indianapolis, Alex Clark. It was to be used, as is, for a Sunday School, but was torn down a year later.
