Disability Legal Services, 5954 N. College Avenue, expanded its reach in 2022! We had a significant increase in caseload and that trend is continuing in 2023. The majority of our clients are children living in single parent homes with limited income. Our goal is to improve the educational outcomes for these students.

We were thrilled to receive a $10,000 grant from the Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Foundation to build capacity to serve more students ins 2023! Please continue to refer families of children with disabilities to us who need assistance in educational matters.

March is National Disability Awareness Month! In 1987 President Ronald Reagan issued Proclamation 5613 to provide encouragement and opportunities to help persons with disabilities lead productive and fulfilling lives. Disability Legal Services supports this Proclamation! We advocate for and support Hoosier children with disabilities to ensure they receive an appropriate education, empowering them to lead productive lives as adults!
