The 2022 Midtown Holiday Home Tour is Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Homes on this year's tour are located at 5829 Central Avenue, 5606 N. Meridian Street, 65 W. 54th Street, 4290 N. Meridian Street and 3666 Watson Road. Each of these five homes are furnished by local designers, landscapers, and shops. Unique classic cars will sit on display outside of each home.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 (or for $20 through November 1 by using the promo code EARLYBIRD) at www.midtownindy.org. Tickets can also be purchased during the event by credit or debit card at 5829 Central Avenue.

"The Holiday Home Tour is a delightful event that's eagerly anticipated by many regular visitors each year. For more than three decades, families, friends, and neighbors have walked through some of our city's prettiest homes decked out for the festive season as part of this annual tradition. This year tour-goers can gain inspiration as they walk through five unique homes trimmed up to celebrate the season. We have a French eclectic home; a mid-century modern; a Tudor; a sandstone farmhouse; and a home built in the American foursquare tradition," explained Allie Madden, who is the Holiday Home Tour Chair.

The Midtown Holiday Home Tour is sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College. Amanda Bollin, Vice Chancellor for Diversity Equity Belonging & Community Engagement at Ivy Tech Community College, said, "At Ivy Tech Indianapolis, we have a commitment to be the college without walls. Tour home sponsors include Realtor Kristi Gaynor, Circle City Property Management & Development, Bedel Financial, Meridian Street Financial, and Good Living Indy. Tour proceeds benefit Midtown Indy's efforts to activate, connect, advocate, and revitalize the Midtown district.

The annual home tour serves multiple purposes in the local community. Michael McKillip, Executive Director of Midtown Indy, said, "Proceeds from the two-day home tour fuel the work we're accomplishing 365 days a year within the Midtown area. Whether it's creating affordable housing for seniors, advocating for pedestrian safety on 38th Street, hosting events in Tarkington Park, or overseeing grant disbursements to small businesses, we're committed to helping our neighborhoods reach their fullest potential. Megan Montague, owner of 4290 N. Meridian Street described her residence: "Our home is of French eclectic architectural style and it was built in 1917. We have been going through a lot of renovations preparing our home for not only our family, but also for the home tour as well. We can't wait for you to check it out!"

The Midtown Holiday Home Tour offers patrons an opportunity to view historical residences and support the local community in which they live.
