Hoosier Nonprofits: Submit Your Proposal for the Mapt Solutions Transformation Challenge
posted: Oct. 13, 2022

Indiana nonprofit organizations have an opportunity to create large-scale change and innovation in their organizations through the new Mapt Solutions Transformation Challenge, which launched today. The winner of the Mapt Transformation Challenge will receive a $75,000 grant for strategic planning services with the Mapt team and an additional $25,000 in cash to support the organization in acting on its plans.
"Organizations today face challenges like never before: ever-increasing digital innovation, customers and clients who are resource limited and exhausted, budget and funding limitations, workforce shortages and the after effects of a global pandemic," said Mapt Co-Founder and Principal Brittany Krier. "As a result of these challenges, organizations get stuck and fail to realize their true potential, impacting both them and those they serve. The goal of the Mapt Transformation Challenge is to help them push past the constraints of today to unearth new potential."
Organizations must be a certified 501(c)(3) and doing work in Indiana. Examples of transformational changes the grant could support include charting a new direction, seizing a new business opportunity that will help the organization grow and expand its impact, or enhancing organizational services for greater reach and impact.
Preference will be given to organizations working to create equity and opportunity for underserved populations. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to, education, workforce development or other social services where work is being done to help individuals improve their economic mobility.
"At Mapt Solutions, we help organizations of all sizes, industries and backgrounds unearth new potential for their organizations. While we love doing this with all our partners, we especially love doing it for those with missions that really matter - organizations working to create greater good through their work and serving those who need it most," said Mapt Co-Founder and Principal Steven Tyler.
