This issue's Random Historic photo is a follow up to the last issue's picture of the 1st Broad Ripple Art Fair on the canal parking deck in 1971. A reader (that's you, Chris Carlson) asked when the Art Fair was on the streets of the Village. Well, I found pictures of that from 1976! I thought the Fair moved to Cornell Avenue for a few years, but these pictures seem to be from Carrollton Avenue, based on the one way north sign.

Does anyone recognize the building with the black roof in the photo below? To me it looks like the Dr. Dirk Sterley DDS building on Carrollton Avenue. Let us know if you have any ideas at info@broadripplehistory.org.
