Jordan mentioned that the United Way clean up event is scheduled for June 24 and the next BRVA Meet-Ups are scheduled for May 4th at Upland College Ave Tasting Room and on June 15th and 317 Burger.
Next, Judy Gray, Glendale branch librarian, discussed the branch move to the old John Strange School location and the groundbreaking. The new branch of the Indianapolis Public Library is expected to open in summer 2023.

Office Frazier of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) gave the crime statistics. While crime in North District is up 5.3%, most of the serious crime categories are down.
Next, Jenelle Bunton of the Department of Public Works (DPW) discussed the Broad Ripple Avenue improvement project. There were a number of questions from the audience about the lack of planning and the traffic problems caused by the start of the project from College to Winthrop in the past few weeks. Jenelle's response was that those issues were caused by the water company, which DPW does not control. The water company is performing the first part of DPW's project by installing a new sewer main down Broad Ripple Avenue.
