This picture was taken in 1976 from the upper window (Biology class) on the west side of Broad Ripple High School toward the north west. The majority of the image is of Bud Wolf Chevrolet's car lot at the corner of Carvel and 62nd Street. The car lot was behind the dealership that was on Broad Ripple Avenue. Today this is the Broad Ripple Station shopping center, with Biscuits on the west and Community Physician Network on the east.

I marked a few landmarks. A: Broad Ripple Lumber Company, now Cholita in front (along Broad Ripple Avenue) and St Vincent in the back where the outdoor wood storage was. B: Mustard Hall on Guilford, where Brick House Dueling Pianos is now. C: Where Starbucks is now. D: A&P Super Market on Broad Ripple Avenue, where Sun King was most recently.
