The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Coffee With A Cop program restarted on March 16, 2022, after a long pause during COVID. This one was held at Steak 'n Shake, 5360 N. Keystone Avenue [OO31 on map], from 11 am to noon. The restaurant was packed with IMPD personnel, neighborhood leaders, and residents. Coffee and donuts were provided. There was an opportunity for residents and cops to make a list of three things that they could do to help public safety. Residents and cops paired up and each picked one item off of the other's list for them to do this week.
