This one was sent in by Susie Neal. She took this photo of an almost dry canal back in 1992, 30 years ago. It shows when a tree uprooted in the bank between the canal and the White River near Butler University and Newfields allowing the water from the higher canal to drain into the lower river. This cut off the main water supply to the Indianapolis Water Company.
