Union Jack Pub has reopened across the street at 921 Broad Ripple Avenue [H5 on map].

This spot has had a long tradition of good restaurants, including Seraphim Asian Grill, Crab General, Sabbatical, La Jolla Mexican Restaurant, and El Matador. Way back, when two buildings were here (921 and 925), it was Wally's Grill (the west side of the building).

When your editor was a kid, Lindner's Ice Cream was in the east side of this location. I can still taste the chocolate chip ice cream!
