Random Rippling - 2021 BR Home Tour
posted: Sept. 30, 2021
The 16th annual Broad Ripple Home Tour took place on September 18 and 19. There were 6 stops this year - four homes and two businesses. At one stop, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by photos on my relatives on the mantel at Joy's House, 2028 Broad Ripple Avenue [HH30 on
map]. Joy's House started with the Charles McKinley Dawson house and eventually tripled its size to accommodate the adult day center needs. Your editor is a Dawson, my grandmother was Helen Dawson who married Broad Ripple postman Girstle Hague.
