This ad is for Kroger, but not the one you're thinking of on Guilford. Before Kroger was across the street from School 80 at 62nd and Guilford Avenue, it was at 5380 N. College Avenue, where Moe & Johnny's is today (although it closed during COVID and has yet to reopen). This ad ran in 1947.
