There were two items on the agenda (in bold below).
6320 Ferguson St., Lou Malnati's Pizzeria - Mark Demerly and Brian Tuohy with a preliminary presentation. (6:10-6:30 p.m.)
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria at 6320 Ferguson Street was long ago approved and is under construction, planning to open in October. This presentation to the committee involved the purchase of the site south of the pizzeria on the canal. This property long had a small white house with a Get Organized sign on it. Metazoa planned to build a Metazoa tasting room on the site and razed the buildings. Those plans changed. Lou Malnati's Pizzeria now is asking to build a 17 car parking lot on the site with a small pocket park on the south end.
It is already rezoned as MU-2. That would allow for many things, but to build only a parking lot on a site, a special exception would need to be granted by the City.
It was mentioned that, in the future, the space above the lot could be developed. At that time, the developer would come back before the BRVA committee with details.

6255 College Ave., Eating Fresh - Loc and Huong Phan regarding a new alcohol permit application. (6:30-6:50 p.m.)
Eating Fresh came before the committee to sign a BRVA "good neighbor" agreement in conjunction with obtaining a new liquor permit. The restaurant planned for the old Naked Tchopstix site will be Vietnamese. It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The liquor permit will be a beer/wine permit.

The next public meeting of the committee is scheduled for July 27 at 6pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard [KK28 on map]
