Spring has sprung and Peggy has gone straight to the Geese! This is our PSA. If you find it necessary to feed the Geese and Ducks along the canal in Broad Ripple please do not feed them bread! Bread & rolls have no nutritional value whatsoever and bloats their stomachs so that they don't have room to eat the fish, minnows, and crayfish that properly provide their nourishment. Duck corn is available at The Good Earth for next to nothing and it is much more healthy for the Geese and Ducks.
