On March 23rd, flood exercises were conducted at spots along the Canal. Flood control panels were installed at the bridge into Rocky Ripple. Sandbags were used to fill in gaps in the flood wall behind the yellow brick water company building at 63rd and Westfield Boulevard [E5 on map]. These gaps in the wall allow for routine maintenance and will be closed during a flood event.
