How to use VBR

Years ago, the Broad Ripple Gazette released its 4-page printed Broad Ripple area business directory to the web as
VirtualBroadRipple.com.
It can be accessed directly, but it and all of our other online sites can be found at
EverythingBroadRipple.com (BR Random Ripplings, BR History, VBR, Calendar, etc.).
VirtualBroadRipple.com is updated every few days with the latest information about local businesses. The listings can be sorted alphabetically, by business type, or by address. Map coordinates are given for each business so it can be located on our maps.
The address sorting is useful when you know about where a business is that you are looking for, but can't think of its name.

We also have area and "downtown Broad Ripple" maps on VBR.
Another feature is a tie-in with
BroadRippleHistory.org. The
Broad Ripple Photo Archive Project combines our map with photos, both current and historic. Readers can submit their photos and we place them on the map with a red dot.

Clicking on a red dot takes you to photos snapped from that spot and shows when they were taken. We are going through the Broad Ripple History archives to find pictures to add. You can also participate. If you have an old photo album with pictures of any place in the Broad Ripple area, let us know. Pictures can be from any time and be of parks, buildings, people outside, etc. You can email us at
images@virtualbroadripple.com or call (317)759-4825. Together, we can preserve the history.
