ABOUT: This Wonderful Life, IRT's 2020-2021 Virtual Season opener, is available for streaming now through January 3, 2021. Indy-based actor Rob Johansen takes on this witty tour de force as he recreates more than 30 characters at madcap speed from the iconic holiday movie. Focused on hope and holiday joy, the story speaks to the need for connection and comfort during these especially difficult times.

WHAT: Frank Capra's iconic holiday movie It's a Wonderful Life provides the springboard for a spirited and heartwarming performance as a man in love with the film enacts and reacts to its classic characters and content. This Wonderful Life is a reimagined telling of the time-honored story: it's Christmas Eve and a distraught George Bailey is sure he has failed his family and community. Clarence, an angel-in-waiting, helps George see how vital a role he's played in the world. In partnership with WFYI, the recorded performance is available to stream in-home, and the approximate run time is 1 hour and 20 minutes with no intermission.

WHEN: Streaming December 1, 2020 through January 3, 2021
