Random Rippling - Kroger announces BR closing

The Broad Ripple Kroger, 6220 Guilford Ave [I4 on map], is to close in mid November.
This press release was issued on October 13th:
Kroger to Close Broad Ripple Store
Kroger's Central Division announced today the plan to close its store in Broad Ripple. Company leaders say the decision follows extensive analysis of its financial performance. In spite of our associates' best efforts, the store has not operated profitably for several years and research indicates a turnaround is not realistic.
The nearly 40 associates will be offered opportunities to transfer to other Indianapolis stores. Two are the nearby Nora Kroger, fewer than four miles away, and the Glendale Kroger, fewer than two miles away.
The Broad Ripple Kroger opened in 1954. It will close in approximately 30 days.
