For the first time in 10 years the Indianapolis Opera Board of Directors decided to cancel the July Lobsterpalooza event due to Covid-19. It became apparent due to concerns about the virus, social distancing, and respect for our patrons it would be best to start planning for our 2021 Lobsterpalooza. We are truly saddened because we know how many of you love the casual nature of this event and the delicious Whole Maine Lobster, prepared by Chef Amy at A Cut Above Catering. For those of you who have enjoyed the event and wish to help the Opera financially, we are asking that you consider a donation of $ 100 per person. The donations received will continue to support the future work of the Indianapolis Opera and ensure that we will have a stage for our amazing artists to perform on.

Additionally, we decided to combine the best of Lobsterpalooza into our new fall event, Wings of Love Celebration. This celebration will be held on October 17, 2020 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral near downtown Indianapolis. This celebration will be a less formal event than our traditional Gala. Information will be available soon. Mark your calendar for October 17; we can't wait to see you there!
