This issue's Random Historic Photo was taken in Broad Ripple Park in 1960. The concrete base for the old amusement park ride (still there today) can be seen in the upper left. Seated on the bench are two old Broad Ripple folks that I knew well. On the left is Glen Hague. Readers will remember Glen from our recent articles on Hoster-Roberts Ford on Broad Ripple Avenue, TV News in Broad Ripple, and the W. Jim Roberts Duesenberg car project. On the right is Broad Ripple mail carrier Girstle Hague. They lived at 61st and Carrollton Avenue.
