The Horticulture Program at ISBVI was developed in 1989. Since that time, the program has grown significantly. Over the years, hundreds of children with visual impairments have been introduced to the wonders of nature in classes such as Horticulture Science and Landscape Management. The Horticulture Program provides opportunities for students at ISBVI to learn about their natural surroundings, how plants grow, and get their hands dirty. The program hosts four sales a year to raise additional financial support of this unique program. All proceeds through these sales benefit the greenhouse program.

Typically the greenhouse is open and available to community members to shop and support the school, but due to Covid-19 social distancing protocols the horticulture staff and volunteers quickly shifted the sale online to ensure the safety of our customers and volunteers.

Shop from the safety of your own home now and schedule a curbside pick-up on Saturday, May 9th between Noon-5PM. Volunteers and staff will bring your items to your car on your scheduled pick-up day.
