Perhaps one of the last events in Broad Ripple to occur before the general event shutdown was the 101st anniversary of the American Legion and also for our local Broad Ripple Post #3 (both founded in 1919) that was held on March 15 in the 64th and College historic building. Likely due to virus concerns, the crowd appeared to be about half of the usual turnout.
